Instrument Lab

A shelf of complete little machines. Pick one up and play it.

Everything in here makes sound, and nothing in here is saved.

Six drum tracks and a bass step lane — tempo, swing, accents and presets in one groove machine.

A complete keyboard: voices, octave, sustain, velocity, scale lock, arpeggiator — and MIDI in.

Stack chords, lay out progressions: key, inversions, bass styles and a drum bed in one desk.

Piano roll, staff and keyboard input — write a line and watch it become notation.

Block out intro, verse, chorus and bridge, then play the whole arrangement back.

Oscillator, scope and temperament comparator — see the wave, hear equal versus just.

The machine's own service bench — every knob, fader, key, lamp and readout in every state.
